Biographical details

From Mompós, Colombia, she was married to a royalist. In September 1815 she and her niece, María Josefa Colorete, were captured by the royalists after Chimá. They were taken by foot to a prison in Torrecilla, where Morillo was stationed, and then exiled to the Antilles. (Monsalve, 108)
