Biographical details

The sister of Jorge Tadeo Lozano, from Bogotá, she married Manuel Bernardo Alvarez on 15 August 1778. Alvarez was executed by the royalists in September 1816. Jorge Tadeo was also executed and her nephew, José María Portocarrero, was executed in Cartagena. (Monsalve, 162)

She was part of the González Manrique, Alvarez, Ricaurte, París, Pardo, Nariño clan. (Monsalve, 139)
