Biographical details

From Bogotá, she married Coronel Manuel Asencio Tello, who was executed by the royalists in Neiva on 7 October 1816. She and her children were exiled to La Mesa, far from her family. One of her young sons suffered a serious illness and died. She married her eldest daughter, Rafaela, aged 13, to Gregorio Castro. (Monsalve, 164)
