Biographical details

From Tucumán, she married José Segundo Roco while he was under a death sentence. Her father, Juan Bautista Paz, president of the Tucumán cabildo in 1810, managed to get the death sentence revoked and the pair married on 20 April 1838. They had 8 children, among them General Julio A. Roca. (Sosa de Newton, 483)
