Biographical details

Born in Lima, he was captain of the Real Regto. de Lima. He was a colonel in 1813 and brigadier 1817-1819. He supported independence and was Diputado at the first Peruvian congress. Brother of Andrés de Salazar y Carrillo. He subscribed to El Mercurio Peruano in 1791. He died in 1826. (Clément, 126)
