From Bogotá, she was married to José Rafael Arboleda. Her brother, Miguel Pombo was executed by the royalists in Bogotá in July 1816. (Monsalve, 138)

She was the mother of writers Julio and Sergio Arboleda Pombo. She educated Sergio (b.1822) at home. (Ardila, 52.)
