Biographical details

She was born in Córdoba on 13 August 1830. She married Roso Allende on 12 December 1853. She was a member of the Tercera Orden de San Francisco and assisted them in the Hospital de Niños, la Casa de Aislamieno, el Hospital de Alienados and el Asilo de Mendigos. She was president of the Sociedad de Beneficencia, Córdoba, three times and she was considered mother of the poor. A street in Córdoba is named after her. She died on 9 September 1916. After her death a hospital to treat tuberculosis was named in her honour. (Sosa de Newton, 110-111)
