Biography

Supatcha Kuakarn is a Postgraduate Research Student at the Univerity of Nottingham.

Background - She is a nursing instructor at the Boromarajonani College of Nursing in Thailand.

She is a registered nurse and midwife.

The midwifery context particularly the labour and childbirth area are her research interest. She is also interested in labour pain management during the first stage as she conducted systematic review regard to women's experiences on Aromatherapy as pain management when she was an MSc student.

Currently, Supatcha is exploring her PhD journey on women's perceptions of male partners being engaged during childbirth in Southern, Thailand. She attempting to identify this topic based on the gender and cultural beliefs of Thai's women.
