Description

This lecture will look at the debates surrounding whether to grant territorial autonomy to ethnic groups - seeking to question the claims of those who worry that it will lead to the break-up of a state.

This is a timely lecture - coming in the year of the Scottish referendum about independence - and also has resonance in South Asia where demands for the creation of more states have never gone away.
