The Medical Research Council and Arthritis Research UK present 'Living well, ageing well', a public discussion with some of the UK’s leading experts in the field of ageing research.
The event will begin with a welcome and introduction from Professor Alan Silman from the University of Oxford.
Talks will include:
- 'Ageing: More life or just more years' with Professor Malcolm Jackson from the University of Liverpool
- 'Why we age' with Professor Janet Lord from the University of Birmingham
- Motivating adults for Lifestyle change with Professor John Mathers from Newcastle University
- The hazards of physical inactivity with Professor Paul Greenhaff from the University of Nottingham
