Friends of University Park are sponsoring the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) opening on Sunday 18 August 2013 from 1.30 – 5pm.
Visitors are invited to take a look around University Park gardens including the Millennium Garden, Highfields Walled Garden, Jekyll Garden and Victorian Rock Garden, a combined total of 300 acres of parkland. Facilities on offer include mini garden tours, minibus services to featured gardens, plant sales and a light cafeteria service.
Free car parking is provided, and the visitor entrance to the Millennium Garden is off Lenton Hall Drive. Admission is £3 for adults, and free for children.
The NGS is a charity supporting Macmillan Cancer Support among others with proceeds from their openings.
