 EVE-4x3-LCD-BHM-MURALS-NJT-SEP16

Presented by the Centre for Research in Race and Rights and New Art Exchange.

Join us as we reflect on the success of Nottingham’s first Black History Mural and consider the impact and legacy of murals more globally. We invite the team behind the new Pathways black history mural to lead a public conversation about murals as activism – in Nottingham and beyond.

This accompanies a screening of Beyond the Walls, a new film that tell stories of hope, struggle and survival from around the world through murals.

Free, all welcome but please register here.

Part of Black History Month 2016. You can keep up to date on events news, comment and profiles on our People and Culture blog, which we will update throughout October. You can also take a look at our gallery of events.
