Description

healthy brain

In collaboration with Cambridge Cognition, The University of Nottingham’s School of Psychology is holding a free, one day science event.

Come along and learn about psychological research and how the brain works. Researchers from The University of Nottingham and our collaborators at Cambridge Cognition will help to show the way our brains and behaviour change as we get older, through a range of tasks and games.

Includes:
  • An interactive environment to learn about Psychology, with expertise from our leading researchers
  • Demonstrations of our most cutting-edge research and technology
  • The opportunity to experience first-hand how research is carried out and how psychological experiments are used to understand the brain and behaviour.
  • Lunch and refreshments
  • As providers of cognitive assessment software, Cambridge Cognition will also give the opportunity to have a go at measuring your own cognitive abilities. Their tests are used across both academic and clinical settings with a huge impact on the way mental health problems are both understood and treated.
If you would like to attend this free event, please register online. Please contact louisa.robinson@nottingham.ac.uk for any further details.
