Enhance your personal capabilities, consultancy engagement opportunities and create impact.

This event has been designed specifically for all University of Nottingham academics whether currently undertaking personal consultancy, though Nottingham University Consultants or in a private capacity, or considering doing so in the future.

Keynote speaker
We are delighted that Steve Watts has agreed to share his experience of consultancy development through a combination of analysis, stakeholder management, technical knowhow and leadership.

Steve is a technology, business and innovation consultant. After 20 years at PA Consulting Group, a leading technology development and management consultancy firm, he set up CambridgeIQ, to offer flexible and integrated services to clients from start-ups to multi-nationals. He combines a deep knowledge of technology innovation with business design to deliver real commercial benefits to clients.

He is the consultancy advisor to Cambridge Minds, a model for providing technical expertise from Cambridge University’s cohort of Post Docs.

Steve is passionate about optimising the bridge between academia and industry and is involved with several Universities in different capacities including as a mentor at the Ingenuity Lab at Nottingham.

During the seminar Malcolm Jackson, General Manager of Nottingham University Consultants, will provide a short update on the key changes to the University’s revised External Work Policy, which will be effective from the beginning of June.
