My Pure Land has been nominated by the UK for the best foreign language film at the Oscars 2018. Directed by Sarmad Masud, it tells the true tale of three women's defence of their house in Pakistan from 200 heavily armed men in a family feud. We are fortunate to have secured, in association with the Broadway cinema in Nottingham, a showing of this film, followed by a Q and A with the Director, Sarmad Masud, led by Professor Katharine Adeney.
