SB Cake Off returns for its 5th year and students and staff from SB Campus of The University of Nottingham will be making some amazing science themed cakes to fundraise for Vets in the Community.
Vets in the Community is a veterinary student led charity that offers free preventative health care to the pets of the homeless people of Nottingham. Clinics are held twice a month and they have a regular client base to which they offer vaccinations, micro-chipping and treatment for minor illnesses, amongst other things.
They are self funded and rely on the kindness and generosity of public donations.
On the day of the Cake Off, you'll be able to:
- Vote on Thursday March 16 online for your favourite cake (between 9:30 and 11:30AM)
- Bake and enter your cake into the competition before 6pm Wednesday 15 March
- Attend a unique cupcake icing masterclass on the day between 12-1
- Add your memorable mark to our 5th anniversary mural on the day
- Buy a whole cake in the silent auction before 12:00 or buy a slice after 1:15PM
- Watch and enjoy others' efforts, all in support of Vets in the community!
