Description

mathematics 920x400

Presented by University of Connecticut Math students (currently studying at the University of Nottingham, School of Education): Emily Burstein, Emily DeFazio, Emily Fodor, Alexandra Grant and Carolynn Palmero.

Twenty Lead Teachers have been recruited as part of the EEF-funded Maths-for-life project. Together with the project team they are developing five key pedagogic approaches in the context of a number of important mathematical concept areas.

In an attempt to better understand the background of this important group of teachers in Further Education a number of case studies are being developed. This presentation explores these through the lens of identity in this ongoing research.

Refreshments will be available.
