On 25 and 26 June 2018, the University of Nottingham's Life in Changing Environments Research Priority Area (RPA) will host a two day conference showcasing the university's internal expertise in environmental research whilst bringing together environmental academics and external partners to encourage new collaborations.
Please note: registration is required for each day you wish to attend the conference
- Day 1 - bridging gaps across academic disciplines
Aimed at UoN academic staff, day 1 of the conference will be an opportunity to showcase environmental research going on within the University of Nottingham including that by colleagues within the Research Priority Area (RPA) and their research groups.
Day 1 of the conference is targeted at all researchers within the University. There will be 4 sessions of oral presentations as well as opportunities to present research posters, and plenty of time for networking.

- Day 2 - forging new regional networks
The second day of the Nottingham Environment Conference is hosted by the University of Nottingham in conjunction with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and will showcase the breadth of environmental work that is taking place across Nottingham, the East Midlands and beyond. It will be a day to network across environmental sectors and discuss common challenges and approaches to dealing with them.
Day 2 of the conference is focused towards any environmentalists, policy makers and practitoners in the East Midlands. There will be four panel sessions, comprising four, five minute introductory talks from the panel followed by questions and contributions from the floor. The day will end with a public lecture and reception.
