A three-day personal and leadership development programme for disabled staff, tailored to reflect the challenges and experiences of disabled staff.
This is a bespoke programme of 3 interlinked workshops which look at disability, career management and leadership (self and others) from different perspectives. It will also give attendees the chance to work together, to define and understand these experiences themselves. The programme is tailored to address the distinct, and often subtle, barriers in Higher Education which disabled staff must overcome.
Calibre is an ILM endorsed programme (level 2) and there is a small personal project to complete after the workshops, for which there is ongoing support. You will be invited to a certificate awards ceremony in October, which is an opportunity for the institution to learn about projects, for participants to network and to meet previous programme participants.
This event will be taking place on Jubilee Campus and will be taking place across three days, being 4, 11, 18 March and attendees should make sure they are available to attend all three days as part of the programme.
This event is open to staff from the University of Nottingham and other institutions across the East Midlands whether you a declared or undeclared disability.
