In this inaugural lecture, Professor Ian Sayers describes his personal journey in research focussed to understanding asthma during a time of unprecedented advances in the tools available to study genetics of human disease.
This new understanding provides opportunities for the development of novel treatments and better targeting of medicines to patients.
