The 2019 Teaching and Learning conference, aimed at staff and PGR students, invites participants to engage in critical debate and discussion around the important theme of Universal Design: meeting the challenges of teaching and learning in 21st Century Higher Education.
In particular, it seeks to explore the critical question of how higher education can meet challenges posed by changing cultural expectations around the role and function of higher education and the implications of this shift to staff and students.
The sub-themes are:

- Engagement of learners
- Professional competencies
- Student voice
- Addressing the attainment gap
- Digital learning
The conference takes place on Friday 3 May 2019 at the Teaching and Learning Building, University Park.
