Organised by the Faculty of Engineering, this event celebrates the achievements of women in aero-related research and practice.
The seminar is presented by Dr Mark Jabbal in relation to International Women's Day (8th March) and in association with his regular UG aerodynamics course.

‘You don’t look like an Engineer, Sweetheart’: Why we need to dismantle pervasive stereotypes and notions that women are not suited for engineering professions, and advocate for more female participation in engineering disciplines, particularly aerodynamics research.
