The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights releases its Fundamental Rights Report 2018. The report is divided into 11 chapters and dedicates its focus chapter to equal treatment for older people and respect for their fundamental rights.

Dr Georgopoulos appeared on Newsmakers, TRT World's flagship current affairs programme to discuss the decision of the Greek Council of State (Greece's highest administrative court) to accept in effect the asylum petition of one of the eight Turkish Military Officers who fled Turkey the night of the July 2016 coup attempt.
