HRLC will deliver a training to Fellows from the African Prison Project

HRLC is pleased to announce the visit of four fellows from the African Prison Project (APP) on 25, 26 and 27 June 2019 as part of the APP Justice Changemaker Programme.

Fellows form a multi-sector team composed of various criminal justice actors coming from different African countries. They will receive training on criminal justice, imprisonment and human rights by our team of Professors and experts.

The African Prison Project was founded by University of Nottingham alumnus Alexander McLean. After graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2007, he moved to Kampala, where he created a team of local and international staff and volunteers to develop the work of the African Prisons Project.
