A range of precision machining systems include the 5-Axis Kern EVO system, which offers positioning accuracies of ±0.5um and ≤0.1um Ra surface finish capability for ferrous, non-ferrous and ceramic materials.
The Kern Evo enables us to produce micro-scale features by combining conventional methods with high-precision tooling and linear actuation. The micro tools available are extremely accurate and delicate – they can drill through a human hair without breaking it – and provide an excellent surface finish.
