The Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Image and Data Fusion (IJIDF) has launched the Best Paper Award, sponsored by the publishers Taylor & Francis, to recognize outstanding papers published in the Journal.

This NGI authored paper:  Didier G. Leibovici and Mike Jackson (2011). Multi-scale integration for spatio-temporal ecoregioning delineation. International Journal of Image and Data Fusion. 2(2):105-119, has been selected by the Award Committee as the Best IJIDF Paper of 2010-2011, in view of its originality, quality and contribution. Some of this work was funded by the FP7 project EuroGEOSS and is also related to previous work with colleagues from the IRD in France (Research Institute for Development), published in 2007, in the IEEE TGARS.
