2nd Joint International Symposium on Deformation Monitoring (JISDM)

Description
The 2nd Joint International Symposium on Deformation Monitoring (JISDM) is now calling for papers, including GNSS topics from photogrammetry and laser scanning to GNSS methodology and application for structural engineering. Some papers will be peer-reviewed for several supporting journals. Prizes will also be awarded to excellent student papers.

ESNC 2013 Galileo Masters

Description
The European Satellite Navigation Competition 2013 is now open for innovative GNSS ideas. This year GRACE is hosting much more support to entrants - with a series of ideas workshops geared to provide intellectual property, financial, business and technical support from a team of experts. The University of Nottingham GRACE is also a principal contact for the University Challenge special topic prize-fund that will help transform young students and research associates into entrepreneurs.

Space Applications for Efficient Maritime Logistics Networks Workshop

This workshop, organised by the Satellite Applications Catapult Solutions, seeks to understand the maritime logistics user perspective of the utility of satellite applications, the problems of and the opportunities to develop and improve services and applications. It will facilitate the understanding of satellite hardware companies, application providers and maritime network end users, stimulating the innovative potential of the UK's growing space sector and capability, and building engagement with key academic communities.
