In-patient Exercise Test (ETT)
NSTEMI
  • CK < 500
  • TropT 0.03-0.09
  • ST depression
  • Inverted T wave
  • Flat T waves
  • Aspirin
  • Beta-blocker
  • Nitrates
  • Enoxaparin
  • Clopidogrel
  • In-patient ETT
  • Angiogram in some cases
NSTEMI
  • CK < 500
  • TropT > 0.1
  • ST depression
  • Inverted T waves
  • Flat T waves
  • Aspirin
  • Beta-blocker
  • Nitrates
  • Enoxaparin
  • IV Tirofiban for 48 hours
  • Clopidogrel to follow infusion.
  • In-patient Angiogram
  • And possible Angioplasty
  • And stent
STEMI Biomarkers are not required if chest pain and ECG changes are present ( although they will be elevated ST elevation
  • Aspirin
  • Beta-blocker
  • Nitrates
  • Enoxaparin
  • Bolus IV Heparin
  • ACE-Inhibitor
  • THROMBOLYSIS
  • Echocardiography
  • Or MUGA scan to assess Left Ventricular Function.
  • (can be as out-patient if asymptomatic. Out-patient ETT.
  • Angiogram if symptoms persist.
