ASPE Spring Topical Meeting on Freeform & Structured Surfaces

Richard Leach, Adam Thompson, Lewis Newton, Athanasios Pappas and Rong Su (now left MMT) attended the American Society of Precision Engineering Spring Topical Meeting on Freeform & Structured Surfaces from 28th to 29th April 2021. They were involved in the following:

• Lewis presented an oral paper “Optimisation of the measurement of additive manufactured surfaces using confocal microscopy”, co-authored with Richard, and Aditi Thanki and Han Haitjema (KU Leuven).
• Rong presented and oral paper “Development of a virtual coherence scanning interferometer”, co-authored with Richard.
• Richard chaired a session on surface modelling and was part of the organising committee for the conference.
