MMT gambles it all on ASPE

Waiel Elmadih, Shah Karim and Richard Leach attended the 33rd Annual Meeting of the American Society for Precision Engineering in Las Vegas, USA from 4th to 8th November 2018. The meeting was attended by around 300 precision engineering, manufacturing and metrology companies and researchers from across the world. The keynote talk featured an update on the James Webb Space Telescope. MMT attended tutorials, had a total of 4 oral and 1 poster paper, and were involved in discussions about the technical leadership of ASPE. Richard chaired a session on machine metrology. The next meeting in the series will be in Pittsburgh in 2019.
