EMPIR project Reference algorithms and metrology on aspherical and freeform lenses (FreeFORM) M18 meeting
Rong Su attended the M18 meeting for the EMPIR project FreeFORM held on 28 and 29 November 2017 at PTB, Braunschweig, Germany. Partners from NMIs, universities and industries attended the meeting. Rong presented the progress that has been made in the past 6 months on the techniques for improving the measurements of high slope surfaces, including the investigation on transfer function of coherence scanning interferometry and the fluorophore aided scattering technique in confocal microscopy. After the meeting Rong visited PTB’s labs for measuring freeform optics and the lab for Avogadro project.
