Adam Thompson and Lars Korner attended the industrial computed tomography (iCT) conference in KU Leuven, Belgium from 7th to 9th February 2017.This was the 7th annual meeting and was attended by over 200 experts and students, from a mixture of industrial and research backgrounds. Adam gave a talk on work performed by Lars and himself as well as other members of the MMT, entitled “Measurement of the internal surface texture of additively manufactured parts by X-ray computed tomography”; describing methods developed by the MMT for using X-ray computed tomography for surface measurement, as well as preliminary results obtained using these methods.
