Xiaobing Feng attended euspen’s 12th Lamdamap conference from 15th to 16th March 2017 at the Renishaw Innovation Centre in UK
Dr Xiaobing Feng attended the 12th International Conference and Exhibition on Laser Metrology, Coordinate Measuring Machine and Machine Tool Performance (LAMDAMAP 2017), organised by euspen and hosted at the Renishaw Innovation Centre in Wotton-under-Edge in UK from 15th to 16th March 2017. The conference attracted over 70 experts from academia and industry. Xiaobing presented work performed by Dr Rong Su, Prof. Richard Leach and himself, entitled “Optical difference engine for defect inspection in highly-parallel manufacturing processes”; describing an optical sensor prototype developed by the Manufacturing Metrology Team for online defect inspection using optical processing techniques, including the preliminary results obtained using the developed sensor.
