Dr Samanta Piano attended the 14th International Conference on Industrial Metrology
Dr Samanta Piano attended the 14th International Conference on Industrial Metrology (Metromeet) in Bilbao from 21st to the 23rd March 2018 (www.metromeet.org).
The conference had two tutorials, two keynotes, one special lecture and 12 invited talks.
Samanta was an invited speaker and delivered her presentation on the 21th March. The talk was about her research on Close-Range Photogrammetry for in-line measurements. The talk was very well received with many discussions during and after the presentation.
Samanta had the opportunity to engage with international researchers (Italy, Spain, Germany, Canada, India, Belgium, Denmark, Romania, Kazakhstan, USA and UK) on different aspects of metrology and interact with company leaders in the field: in particular Zeiss, Innovalia, Renishaw and Creaform.
