Teguh Santoso and Wahyudin Syam attended the MICROMAN project general meeting in Chemnitz, Germany
The 7th MICROMAN project general meeting (10 April) and the 5th MICROMAN workshop in micro- electrochemical machining (11 to 13 April) were held at the Professorship Micro-manufacturing Technology, Technische Universität Chemnitz. The general meeting discussed the progress of all MICROMAN’s student projects, technical progress of the project, the submission of the WP3 “Micro-manufacturing fingerprint” deliverable and the content of the WP4 “In-line process/product metrology” deliverable. The workshop included lectures on theoretical electrochemical machining processes for precision and micro manufacturing as well as on the simulation of electrochemical processes. The theoretical knowledge was expanded with hands-on simulation with COMSOL Multiphysics. Furthermore, the students had practical lab courses on jet-electrochemical machining, pulsed electrochemical machining and plasma electrolytic polishing.
