Siwen Chen and Amrozia Shaheen attended the second PAM^2 workshop at TU Delft
Siwen Chen and Amrozia Shaheen attended a workshop on the basics of system design, specification and computational design at TU Delft, Netherlands from 17 October 2017 to 20 October 2017. On day one, the students were introduced to the basic concepts of continuum mechanics, topology optimisation and sensitivity analysis. Day two was dedicated to hands-on exercises on topology optimisation. On the following day, the students visited ASML for a technical tour. They first had a tour of the company and the advanced products that they manufacture with lithography techniques, then they were required to develop a basic design for a heat transfer system. On the last day, the students had to produce YouTube videos on topology optimisation.
