Rong Su undertakes 1 month secondment to China
Rong Su has undertaken secondments to Tianjin University for 1 month. This trip was supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) project – Micro/Nano Robotics for Single Cancer Cells (MNR4SCell).
In Tianjin, Rong visited Dr Fujun Wang of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and his lab in the new campus of Tianjin University. Potential collaboration on atomic force microscopy has been discussed.
Rong spent most of his time with Prof. Fengzhou Fang’s group – the Centre for Micro/Nano Manufacturing Technology. He discussed with Prof. Fang and Prof. Xiaodong Zhang the potential collaboration on optical measurement of surface with high slope, and discussed with Peng Lv about his PhD project – Characterisation of Lu2O3 surface processed by plasma-assisted etching. With Rong’s support during the period of the secondment, Peng obtained promising experimental results.
