Sofia heads to the Ozarks
On the 12th of November 2018, Sofia Catalucci visited Prof. Peter Ungar at the University of Arkansas Anthropology Department.
The purpose of the visit was to deliver algorithms and guidelines for a portable photogrammetry system, developed by the Manufacturing Metrology Team.
Sofia Catalucci offered her knowledge on 3D point cloud processing, using a 3D modelling and metrology software.
The processed data will allow Prof. Ungar to digitise a large range of mammalian teeth, verifying and supporting his research.
