The Place-Names Committee of the Kent Archaeological Society and the Centre for Kent History & Heritage are hosting a conference, 'Exploring Kentish Naming Practices', on 17 Nobember 2018. The one-day conference includes papers on place-names, personal names and tavern names, including two papers by the Dr Paul Cullen, the Kent editor of the Survey of English Place-Names.
