The Byron Study Centre - Web Archive

This project, undertaken in collaboration with Newstead Abbey, provides free online access to digital facsimiles of manuscripts and letters written by Byron during his residence at Burgage Manor in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The facsimiles are accompanied by a range of contextual materials, including a gallery of Byron-related artefacts, an introductory essay and transcripts, as well as teaching and learning activities.

The project has been made possible thanks to financial support from the English Subject Centre, and the generous contributions of the Nottingham City Council, Geoffrey Bond and the Harry Ransom Center at the The University of Texas at Austin
