Aims

Supporting older carers to design and lead research reflecting their key concerns about caring for people with cancer approaching the end of life.

Methods

  • Discussion workshops with older carers using nominal group technique 
  • Series of research training sessions with older carers 
  • Collaborative work between lay and academic researchers in developing research proposals

Outcomes and Findings

Project finished and briefing papers published in collaboration with Macmillan.
