Aims

To develop a series of reusable learning objects (RLOs) on care of patients with dementia in the acute hospital.

Methods

Development of the RLOs has involved workshops with clinicians and PPI representatives and the expertise of the clinical team working on the Medical and Mental Health Unit Nottingham University Hospitals. Development of the RLOs has involved the expertise of the HELM team at the School of Health Sciences.

Stage of Development

Three RLOs have been sent for expert peer review. The RLOs are on dementia and cognitive loss, person-centred care and communication. They should be available online by the end of July.
