BOOBIE BALL 3
A massive THANK YOU from NBCRC to the team behind the hugely successful 'Boobie Ball 3' event which was held on 26 Nov 2022 at the Delta by Marriot Nottingham Belfry Hotel. The event raised an amazing £22K for Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Centre.
Pictured above and from left to right are the organisers: Rebecca Hunt, Kirstine Pacey, Lisa Johnson, Rebekah Jackson, Sally Stretton, Claire Jennings and Carol Bowman. This group of friends, and NBCRC supporters, had to navigate many challenges and cancellations due to the pandemic, but were finally able to bring their plans to fruition delivering this fabulous evening.
The Boobie Ball 3 team would like to extend their thanks to Mark Dennison and Vejay Pal for once again donating their time to the event. Mark was the compere for the evening and Vejay did an incredible job for the auction which raised an impressive £6,500.Thanks go to Carol and John Bower for donating money to provide gift bags and also a professional photographer for the night. To photographer Richard Jackson (richardpv.com) for capturing the event and for donating 50% of subsequent photo sales, and to The Limelight Orchestra for amazing music and keeping the dance floor full.
Also pictured above is BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew who shared a few cricketing anecdotes as he introduced his personal donation to the auction lots - an official cricket cap signed by England captain Ben Stokes which went on to raise an impressive £700. And donning his kilt for the evening, NBCRC Director Prof Stewart Martin, who took to the floor to thank everyone involved in making the evening such a great success.
