The Research Centre for the Study of Parties and Democracy (REPRESENT)is hosted by the University of Nottingham with collaboration from the University of Birmingham. It's directors are Dr Neema Begum (University of Nottingham), Dr Fernando Casal Bértoa, (University of Nottingham) Dr Kevin Fahey (University of Nottingham). Dr Tim Haughton (University of Birmingham) contributes as an associate director.

Democracy is on the retreat in many parts of the globe. REPRESENT brings together an interdisciplinary network of scholars with an interest in collaborating on innovative research into key areas of challenge for political parties and the study of representative democracy. We are an inclusive group and encourage all academics and doctoral researchers interested in our focus areas to get involved!
