Taiwan’s space ecosystem is scaling rapidly, with a focus on resilience and a stronger voice in global dialogue. This talk outlines Taiwan’s space development and current initiatives, then maps opportunities for UK–Taiwan collaboration. The session will conclude with a brief personal career journey within the UK government’s science and technology network, followed by Q&A.About the Speaker
Andie Wang is a science diplomacy and technology partnerships professional focused on emerging technologies, especially space. She serves as Science & Technology Officer at the British Office Taipei, facilitating international R&D and early-stage innovation across space, semiconductors, and frontier tech. She is also the President and Founder of Taiwan Space Generation (TSG), a youth-led NGO connects Taiwan’s talent to the global space community. Andie received the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) Nebula Scholarship (2025) and was selected as an International Strategy Forum (ISF) Fellow (2026) by the Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP).
