Co(l)laboratory Fully Funded Studentships

Co(l)laboratory is a joint project between Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham, that will support Nottinghamshire communities through partnership, research and collaboration.

This eight year, £5.1m project will train 50 PhD candidates through a programme of locally relevant, challenge-based research, guided by Nottinghamshire communities.

Fully funded studentships

Applications for the second Co(l)laboratory fully funded studentships are open until 12pm Friday 15 December 2023.

We will fully fund 10 passionate researchers who want to make a real difference to the lives of people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. All of our PhD projects have been co-designed by academic researchers and partners at local community-focused organisations, based on the needs and priorities of local citizens. Co(l)laboratory research will support development within local communities, broadening prospects and facilitating change for citizens, driving growth and improving wellbeing.
