Biography
I have worked in the Widening Participation team at the University of Nottingham since May 2016, having previously worked at the University of Sheffield, managing a range of outreach and access programmes targeting both pre and post 16 learners.
Expertise Summary
I am responsible for managing, developing and evaluating an innovative programme of events and activities, aimed at encouraging students from under-represented backgrounds to progress to, and succeed within, higher education and specifically at the University of Nottingham. I specifically work with local secondary schools arcoss the East Midlands and manage our Pre 16 widening programme 'Ambition Nottingham'. I am also responsible for the university's transition programme (KickStart) for new undergraduate (UG) mature students (aged 21+).
