We want to make sure that you are as prepared as possible for starting your course so the information on this page is designed to give you all the information you need, so you: 

• know what you need to do before you get to Nottingham 

• can prepare yourself for studying at university 

• are aware of what to expect in your first week at university 

• feel confident about your new environment and how you will be supported 

Your induction timetable will be published here at the end of August. It will cover:

• essential Department of Natural Sciences and university-wide registration activities
• events to help you settle, feel at home and get to know your fellow students
