Finding referencing information - journals

All the information you need to create a journal reference can be found on the cover and the contents page.   

The information needed to create an accurate journal reference would include:

  • Author(s) of the article
  • Year of publication
  • Title of the article 
  • Title of the journal
  • Volume number 
  • Part or issue number
  • Page numbers

For example:  

Bryant, J. and Mackenzie, A. (2005) Taste testing sugar-free confectionary: a case study. Journal of the Food Testers’ Society of Australia. 93(4), 314-318.
