Function Room Hire

UNSSC has a separate function room available for hire (capacity for up to 100 people) for birthdays (excluding 18-21 ages), weddings etc by members and non-members at reasonable rates.

• Room hire is £25 for all, unless you are also booking the bar, in which case there is no charge for the room and you just need to pay for the bar staff.
• Bar staff must be paid for prior to function taking place
  ( National Minimum Wage applies).
• There will be a charge for any damage or other charges which are incurred by the club as a result of the function.
• A £100 cash-returnable deposit is required when booking, please contact the club on 0115 951 3652 within opening hours to arrange payment. An online booking without payment will not secure the room hire.

Conditions of Booking the Function Room:

• Any function taking place in the club or annexe will be the responsibility of the person who has made the booking.
• The room must be vacated 30 minutes after the bar closes.
• All music entertainment etc must cease 20 minutes after the bar has closed and statutory drinking-up time is observed.
• The sale of alcoholic refreshments will only be permitted as laid down in the club's licence until 11.00 pm.
• No consummtion of own drink without prior consent from bar manager or secretary.
• The clubs kitchen must not be used without prior permission of the bar manager.
